JRA has built many prototypes for product presentations, concept testing and focus group tours. Prototypes simulate features and feature sets being considered for development, interface concepts and new product ideas. Our years of experience with human interface issues and design, as well as expertise with software tools to create realistic simulations support our work in this area.
Product concept testing
The client wanted to test an idea for a training vehicle using an adventure game model. For this project we developed several characters and settings, and used a narrative to present tasks and challenges. Characters were based on important historical contributors in the subject field.
Prototyping is key part of our application development process. JRA creates presentation and educational products requiring usability and technology testing as ideas are developed. In our process, the prototypes often develop into the final product itself.
Before entering into full development, the essential concepts of a new product are often built into a working model for presentation to investors and the development team. These presentations usually require custom programming to simulate new features being considered.
